The Plato I - Backpack/Book Bag
THIS BAG: Perfect for carrying your books about Plato (and many others). The Plato I is completely handsewn with a drawstring closure, a small pocket on the front and full flap. SIZE: The Plato I is 17" tall and 15" wide (no gusset). COST: $198.00 This price includes Padded shoulder straps that are dble thick leather with padding. It includes a double thick shoulder strap that attaches to the two "D" rings with detachable swivel snaps. The straps on the "D" rings also attach to the bottom of the bag for greater security. This bag is completely handsewn and made from a pattern I created. The thick leather is either oil or latex dyed, so it is very water resistent. I use a braided thread that is incredibly strong; the handsewing allows the leather to move a bit instead of tearing. There are multiple features of the Odysseus I that make the bag particularly STRONG like the double thick shoulder strap, handles and the straps holding the "D" rings. The Eros III is only slightly smaller than the Eros II. The Eros series included the first bag I made more than 40 years ago; this bag was made while I was still living in Greece and under the tutelage of Nikos Sakalis (see"About" tab above). THIS BAG: The Circe bag may look small, but it is deceptively large. Inside are two large compartments. When expanded like an accordion, this "small" bag will hold all your secret stuff. Most gussets are 2” but this one is 6” giving you lots of room for more stuff. This bag is also a bit labor intensive, having more than 1,500 individually-cut holes for sewing (which takes more than 4 hours). The Juliet
